Harrow Teaching Alliance

SCHOOLS DIRECT: HARROW TEACHING SCHOOLS ALLIANCE

Marlborough Primary School is a teaching school.  As well as hosting and supporting the initial teaching training placements of undergraduate and postgraduate teachers from Brunel, Middlesex Universities and University College London, we are also part of the Harrow Teaching Alliance, developing the early teching experience of Associate Teachers working across Harrow.

Marlborough Primary School is delighted to be working with Harrow Teaching School Alliance (HTSA), Harrow Schools Education Improvement Board incorporating 17 partner schools, to support on the School Direct programme in conjunction with the National College for Teaching and Leadership.

We start recruiting from October every academic year, so watch this space!  

STEM SCIENCE LEARNING HUB SCHOOL AND HARROW SCIENCE LEARNING HUB

We are proud to be a primary science specialist school, with recent applications to be a STEM science learning hub school and Harrow primary science knowledge hub having been successful.  We are delighted to announce that as part of our collaboration with HSIP (Harrow School Improvement Partnership) and HTSA (Harrow Teaching School Alliance) we are now the Learning Hub for Primary Science. We are running sessions over the academic year, for teachers and science subject leaders from Harrow and beyond.

High quality, committed and creative staff can offer a range of opportunities from termly network meetings for year and subject leaders, induction and training for new leaders, how to improve transition, leadership in safeguarding, to children as leaders.

Support and development work can take the following forms:

  • learning walks
  • case studies
  • work scrutinies
  • Q&A sessions
  • shadowing
  • coaching and mentoring
  • outreach work
  • email support.
