After School Clubs

Marlborough Primary School provides a wide range of activities that children can enjoy beyond the school day.

Marlborough Primary School is proud to work in partnership with Active Minds Clubs, working alongside Sports Menders Activity Club, to deliver a high-quality and engaging programme of sports, creative and educational activities through one coordinated provision.

The complete after-school club programme is coordinated through Active Minds. This includes clubs led by Marlborough teaching staff, alongside specialist activities delivered by Sports Menders and Active Minds coaches.

Bringing the provision together under one coordinated service gives children opportunities to stay active, explore their creativity, strengthen their learning and develop new interests in a safe, supportive and familiar school environment.

The after-school programme aims to help children:

Remain active and develop healthy habits.
Build confidence and self-belief.
Improve teamwork and communication.
Learn and practise new skills.
Explore their creativity.
Receive additional educational support.
Make new friends.
Enjoy structured activities beyond the school day.

One Coordinated After-School Provision

Active Minds works closely with Marlborough Primary School, the school’s teaching staff and Sports Menders Activity Club to coordinate and deliver the after-school club programme.

Teacher-led clubs are now part of the Active Minds after-school provision and should no longer be treated as a separate programme.
