The school has five simple, MAGIC rules, but our focus is not just concerned with rule enforcement. It is a means of promoting good relationships, so that we can work together with the common purpose of helping everyone to learn. We aim to allow everyone to work together in an effective and considerate way. All children are treated in a fair and consistent manner.
The school has five simple rules which apply throughout the school at all times. These rules must be implemented by all staff at all times whether dealing with their own class or others.
Make the right choices and follow instructions straightaway
Aim high and give it your all
Go for Green
In all you do, demonstrate and be proud to represent Marlborough Primary School
Children and adults at Marlborough are respectful and kind to everyone and everything
The school operates the “Going for Green” Behaviour plan.
All children begin each day on “Green” for following the school rules and for good behaviour. Children remain on green and avoid “Red” or “Amber” sanctions. Children are awarded with behavior credits which celebrate their behavior over the term. Children then exchange these credits for a variety of rewards and prizes from the “Going for Green” behavior shop!
Gold Credit Award - 70 days on Green
Silver Credit Award - 25 days on Green
Bronze Credit Award - 15 days on Green
The school acknowledges all the efforts and achievements of children, both in and out of school.
